Meeting with Regulators on MASB ED 74 Reduced Disclosure Requirements
The Secretariat held a meeting with the regulators to seek their views on the proposed standard on reduced disclosure requirements.
The gist of the proposed standard was to allow subsidiary, associate or jointly-controlled entity of PLC to use the Reduced Disclosure Requirements as their basis of disclosures in their individual financial statements.
The regulators present during the meeting were Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission and Bank Negara Malaysia.
