The amendment in this addendum shall be applied for annual periods beginning on or after 1 July 2007.

In MASB Approved Accounting Standards including Intrepretations, applicable at 1 July 2007, references to 'MASB ED 53 Framework for the Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements' and the 'Proposed Framework for the Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements' are amended to 'Framework for the Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements'.
